Subject: From a colleague of Rich Lee
Dear Karen,
You don't know me, but I knew your
husband Richard while I was a
consultant at BT Alex Brown/Deutsche
Bank.
A very good friend of mine, Paul Gill
recently informed me of your
loss.
I would like to send you my heart
felt condolences. Rich was an
extraordinarily generous man, in an
industry which is not known for
its generosity or humanity.
Rich was also unique as a client
because he treated me like his
regular staff. He also did not remove
me in light of the pending
Deutsche Bank take-over. For this I
have been eternally grateful. For
without the BT Alex Brown assignment,
I would have struggled to
support myself through business
school.
I believe, God takes the good ones
early because he has grander things
for them to do. Rich is definitely
one of the good ones.
Once again, I am truly sorry for what
has happened to you and your
family.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.
God bless
