I have heard the sad news about Rich and my heart goes out to his family. I am lost for words about the horrors of this attack… As for my own recollections I remember Rich as a meistro who programmed at such speed that one felt in the presence of a great composer and who's knowledge and confidence was such that other technology colleagues were over-awed and humbled. Always hugely enthusiastic with a driven can do approach to the work and I imagine to life in general. A great talent and a tragic loss for us all.
